ASCnet (Applied Systems
Client Network)
As the DORIS system has
become part of the Applied Systems family of products,
Applied's User Group, ASCnet, would like to extend a special
invitation for DORIS users to become part of their client
network.
By joining forces, DORIS users will have greater access to
various resources to help better run their agency:
educational programs, special training seminars, newsgroups,
third party discounts etc.

What is Applied Systems
Client Network?
The goal of ASCnet is encapsulated in its Mission Statement:
Applied Systems Client Network promotes successful
automation and business practices through communication,
education, and advocacy. This work is supported by dues
dollars and other sources of non-dues revenue which include,
among other things, the Annual Education Conference and the
production of a vast array of products designed to assist
members in their daily operations. |
|
Background:
ASCnet membership ranks
have swelled to close to 5,000 members representing over
110,000 users of Applied Systems Software. As DORIS users
join the Applied System family we hope to steadily increase
that number. The ASCnet family extends across the North
American continent to Canada and across the seas to Jamaica,
the Bahamas, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Scotland
and the United Kingdom. ASCnet members encompass every
position in the agency: from principal and producers, to CSRs and network administrators, everyone can benefit from
ASCnet.
What makes ASCnet different from many other user groups is
that membership is voluntary -- users make a
conscious, independent decision on whether or not they want
to belong and support the work of the association through
dues dollars.
Cost: Costs are based on the number
of terminals that an agency has.
Please note:
You must be
current with Applied Systems' support in order to be an
ASCnet member
